- A important motivation for the third edition of the multilingual demographic dictionary. For this unified second edition which reflects society and demographic situations up to 1987 (publication of the German edition) only. Keep it simple and say a marriage is monogamou s or polygamous. Counterexample is the country of Mali has both mono and poly societies???? It does not sound right.--Stan BECKER 18:26, 25 November 2014 (CET)
